A juicy 3.5 stars, it's got to be one of the finest, laid-out floor plans ever (more on this later).
Located in the busy area near the Market at Lonsdale, in a nice corner location; how these coffee shops pay the rent is one thing, just shows how much moola rolling in...
Waves mochas are pretty good, that's my poison here.
But what I like about this location is the comfy, lounge seating way at the front, away from the noisy coffee makers in the back.
Also, another entrance back there too.
Christmas tree out of course. -

I always get my coffee to go here, and the baristas are very friendly. However, I avoid sitting in, even though I'd like to, because the atmosphere is a little cold, and the shop itself is actually cold! I know my wrists would be aching after just 30 minutes of sitting there, so for that reason I always grab my coffee and leave right away.

The staff tried to rip me off. When I bought my coffee, they thought I would walk away forgetting that they owe me change. I bought a coffee with a $20 bill. The cashier took my money and walked away to make the coffee. When he came back, I had to remind him that he owes me my change. This wasn't a mistake on his part; based on his behaviour, my instinct tells me that he was hoping I'd forget that he owed me money.

Went in one time. Girl working was munching on a muffin. Came over to help me out. As she was talking to me muffin was flying out of her mouth. So disgusting and against Vancouver coaster health food standards.
Other times coworkers have bought coffee from here. I tried it. Tasted horrible. I would never purchase a coffee for myself from there. -

This location is always busy, therefore, don't go in hoping to get a table unless you can negotiate with someone who is taking a 4 seater to share. Your hopes of getting an outlet for your lap top or other is damn near impossible, therefore, had to make this visit a grab and go situation. I don't normally go to Waves, however, had a gift card from years ago that was going to expire soon so I used it here just to make it worth my while. My latte was decent. I had a muffin which was a little dry. Customer service was decent.
